Call for Thematic Submission - 2022

2021-11-20

The Revista Chronos Urgência was conceived to provide opportunities for the socialization of debate and, associated with the wealth of experiences in daily work, the production of knowledge in the field of emergencies. This field has long been discussed as a privileged observatory of the health system, where the needs identified in all points of the health care network are strongly expressed.

There have been many productions and advances in this field, since the beginning of the movements to formulate policies and regulations, especially in Pre-hospital Treatment (PHT), and there are many challenges and concerns that still exist, with a view to continuing to deepen and qualify practices in this area.

Including in the PHT concept all services, public or private, civil or military, that serve in any environment, whether land, water or air, we see that the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to new scenarios and challenges, creating needs and demands, and opportunities and innovations, which shaped new practices.

In this sense, the Revista Chronos Urgência invites the national scientific community to submit manuscripts in Portuguese for its first thematic issue. This issue intends to disseminate knowledge on the topic “Portraits of PHT in Brazil: scenario, challenges, opportunities and innovations”.

In this scenario, we expect characterization studies on what, how much, how and when care is provided, whether in the intervention or in the medical regulation of emergencies. In challenges, we explore analysis studies on care models, people management, emergency regulation, computerized systems and various aspects of public policy.

In opportunity, quality of what is opportune, we see the current time with a range of opportune events capable of bringing benefits and improving the current state of health in the country, whether in care, education or in the management of services. And finally, in terms of innovations, we are waiting for studies on the generation, development and implementation of new ideas, encompassing transforming practices, change processes and incorporation of technologies (products or processes) from different urgent areas.
